Party like it’s a Pandemic
For those that spent Labor Day weekend partying like it was 1999, please remember to put in the time quarantining before you interact with any of those who didn’t. It is to be hoped that those numbers were few, and that the majority of us barbequed peacefully in our own backyards forsaking all those of different households. For those who could not resist the call of the beaches, restaurants, and house parties, please be mindful of the rest of the population these next couple of weeks. Whether you participated as safely as it is possible to participate in group activities, or threw caution (and your mask) to the wind, don’t pay that potential exposure forward. It can certainly be argued that each of us has the right to frivolously risk ourselves, but none of us has the right to frivolously risk others.
